The souvenir sheet was issued on the occasion of the first National Stamp Exhibition Tel Aviv, 1949.
The 10 perutah stamp appearing on the sheet is a coin from the period of the War of the Second Temple and bears the likeness of a covered amphora. The Hebrew inscription on the stamp means "Year three - First Revolt."
The inscription on the souvenir sheet is "Israel Post," on top, and "Year one of the Israel Stamp, Iyyar 7, 5709" (on bottom).
