In 1966 three stamps were issued to commemorate Israel's 18th Independence Day. The stamps depict various Independence Day festivities: fireworks, special naval and air force maneuvers, and the display of the Israeli flag on buildings. On each tab is the emblem of the State of Israel, the menorah, and the inscription: "Independence Day 5726-1966".
